Livia Kojo Alour

The story of a queer Black woman finding love after retiring from her full-time job as a sword swallower.

Over ten years ago Livia moved from Germany to London to live and work in a more diverse community. They learned that life-long feelings of self-hatred and otherness are part-internalised racism and part-survival techniques.

Fusing physical theatre, spoken word and song, Black Sheep will take you on Livia’s journey overcoming institutional racism, leaning into radical vulnerability and of course, sword swallowing!
