TCWC is a small, very friendly and enthusiastic club that encourages people of all ages and abilities, to take part in paddle sports. They hold indoor sessions at Tynemouth Pool, where beginners learn in a warm safe environment and master the skills and techniques they will require when out on real ‘live’ water. More experienced paddlers practice rescue techniques and perfect their skills.

Kayak Northumbria was founded in 2011, they’re a friendly canoe club based in Newcastle upon Tyne made up of young enthusiastic kayakers! they meet regularly, about once a week, either for a training session in a pool, a trip down a river, a surf at the beach or a pint in the pub. Now and again, they travel further afield on weekend trips away, as well as the odd yearly trip abroad.
