I have just competed in Top Model North East and won the Newcastle heat becoming Top Model of Newcastle. I raised £1550 for Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice and am going on to compete in the national pageant Supermodel England representing Newcastle. I wanted to share this story to help other people gain the confidence by doing this as it has helped me in so many ways. I never thought I would be able to do something like this as I never felt good enough but I thought to get passed my anxiety I would throw myself in the deep end which I did and it has changed me positively as a person. I am now more confident in speaking out instead of sitting quietly, it has made me feel confident in myself and it has gained me so many friends. I would love to encourage other people to take part in these as they have changed my life for the better and I want that for everyone. I am still so grateful that I got given the opportunity to do Top Model North East and now I get to take part in Supermodel England and I am so excited, especially sharing the stage with such amazing women.
